The quick change of race and outlooks left blizzard with little room to change her path, her name or her actuall story… It was sadly removed about two-three days after the update that showed the lake, due to parrental complaints that they felt the childs game was taking QUITE a turn with such a serious ghost story… The original story of the pond (Which was removed as it is a bit sinister) is the fact that when the area was openedfor public a mother and her daugther ventured there in the late hours of the night… The small girl, Olivia, fell into the pond and her mother tried to save her… In vain… Both drowned and were fished out of there, being burried and the pond named after the small child which was, in princip, the first VICTIM (Not visitor) of the Pond… Olivia Jayne’s (The draenei) is an orphan that been touched by the story and chosen to wander there… Some rumours indicate she was originally ment to be a ghost of the little girl but with the change of the sinister story, she were changed to a draenei… This also explain why she walks the bottom of the lake occasionally without any need to breath… She is (Assumingly) the character that replace the flowers on her mothers, the doll being the catalyst that keeps her. Olivia’s Jayna are actually not the owner and as someone rightfully stated, nor is it a common name for a draenei in any manner… Look near the pond and you will find two graves next to a tree right as you go down the stairs… The grave with the doll is “Olivia Jayne”… The larger grave is her mothers grave. So poignant… Inspires me with the last few days before SL, I’m going to explore more in-depth other backstories instead of chasing mog and legacy gear!
